Inauguration Date: 6-18-1970

The glass building is placed at the far south of Urquiza Park.

In the ground floor is are the hall and the traditional Copérnico room used for lectures, conferences, exhibitions and art activities.

In the first floor is Direction, offices and Library. In the second floor is the telescope. Where observations and Astrophotography are take. Especially the Sun, the Moon, and the Planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Venus.
